Funding entity Iberdrola Energías Renovables II
The outcome of this project is a report on what the power factor is and how the capabilities of two wind power generators must be interpreted. The report is addressed to a non-technical audience. Precisely, the report explains the following concepts: the active and the reactive power, the power factor, the role of reactive power in power systems, the legal requirements regarding to reactive to the conventional power plants and the wind mills and the power factor capabilities of two wind power generators.
